Making New Drivers Safer Drivers

Pass Plus is a training course specifically aimed at new drivers, designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. Pass Plus will build upon your existing skills and knowledge, it will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, and can help you to become more confident on the roads. Pass Plus is made up of six practical modules which include:
Statistics show that the risk of having an accident is highest during the first years of driving after passing the driving test - This is the main reason why the Government launched the Pass-Plus scheme.

When all 6 modules have been completed the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) will issue a certificate. There is no test to take. Many insurers give a discount to people who have attained a Pass Plus certificate - up to the equivalent of one year's no claims bonus.
